PROMOTES INDOOR MOBILITY FOR PARALYZED PETS
Gives disabled pets the freedom to play and explore in their indoor environment. Your pet can regain the independence to move around the house easily and freely when not in a pet wheelchair.

KEEPS YOUR PET COMFORTABLE
The low profile, padded scooter base supports the paralyzed hind end and also makes it easy for your pet to lay down and rest when they need to. The chest panel of the Scooter bag is lined with soft fleece for maximum comfort.

PROTECTS YOUR PET FROM INJURY
The Walkin’ Scooter allows your pet to roll across floors instead of dragging when not in a wheelchair. The durable nylon fabric and elevated scooter base protect your pet’s paralyzed rear limbs and chest from scraping against flooring.
How to Choose the Right Size

The length of the dog on the size guide is for reference only. Every pet is shaped differently, and we recommend using your pet’s weight as the main point of reference.
When measuring length, start at the last rib. Every dog positions their legs differently; If your pet’s legs extend behind them as they drag, measure to the tips of their toes. If your pet sits on their legs as they scoot, measure to the end of the rump. The bag length should ideally match with your pet’s measurement, however if the bag length on the chart is longer than your pet’s measurement this is also acceptable. If the bag length listed is shorter than your pet’s measurement, you will need to size up.

Is the Walkin’ Scooter Right for My Pet?
The Walkin’ Scooter enables pets with hind end paralysis to glide around the house on wheels instead of dragging, reducing the risk of injury and making it easier for them to be mobile. The Walkin’ Scooter is intended only for pets with full hind end paralysis, meaning they are unable to stand and have very limited to no movement in the hind limbs but their front limbs remain strong. For pets who can still stand and walk with their back legs we recommend the Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair for support, which allows them to exercise their back legs in a natural standing position. The Walkin’ Drag Bag is an option for indoor protection for pets who have limited mobility in the rear legs.
What to Expect:
Whether your pet is newly paralyzed or has been so for a while, new items and experiences can be intimidating to them. Therefore, a slow and gentle introduction to using the scooter will help your pet form a positive association with it. Start by having the scooter in the room and letting your pet investigate the scooter on their own, rewarding them with treats and praise. The first few times you have your pet try wearing the scooter may only be for a few minutes, gradually working up to longer lengths of time as they gain confidence in themselves while using it.
For Best Results:
Supervision is recommended while your pet is in their Scooter, as there is always the possibility that the scooter could get stuck on a piece of furniture or similar obstruction. It is safe for your pet to lie down wearing the scooter, and can be left on for extended periods as long as your pet is comfortable. The Scooter is also great for incontinent pets who use diapers. Please check on your pet regularly to ensure they are comfortable, clean, and dry in the Scooter. Paralyzed and incontinent pets should never lie in one position for too long.
