AMHERST, NH (February 13, 2023) – Since 2001, NH-based pet mobility company Walkin’ Pets has helped over 1.85 million pets live a more active life. Today, Walkin’ Pets announces its support of the Ruck9 Foundation based in Sarasota, FL, to help disabled pets in need.
Ruck9’s mission is to raise awareness and build a community of supporters whose focus is to assist uniquely created canines, regardless of circumstance, size, or disability, to ensure that all dogs live their best life. In just under two years, John Cox and his Ruck9 team have donated over 178 Walkin’ Wheels wheelchairs to special needs pets around the world.
To support Ruck9’s efforts, Walkin’ Pets will donate 10% of all sales of their Camouflage Walkin’ Wheels dog wheelchair.
“Ruck9 is blessed beyond words to have a partnership with Walkin’ Pets because together we are truly moving animals, with the gift of mobility, back to being the creatures they were designed to be,” says John Cox of Ruck9, “I feel that I made one of the most influential decisions of my life when I called Walkin’ Pets for the first time to order my very first wheelie. Little did I know that I was going to be wrapped up in the culture and passion of a company that shares my passion. Every person I have had the privilege to meet in person, talk to on the phone or converse through email welcomes me to the Walkin’ Pets family tradition.”
“We love and support Ruck9’s mission to help pets stay active and improve their quality of life, and Walkin’ Pets is proud that every dollar donated will help to keep pets active and, most importantly, allow them to enjoy more time with their families,” says Jennifer Pratt, Walkin’ Pets Marketing Director.
