AMHERST, NH (August 15, 2023): Voting has begun for the 9th annual Walkin’ Pets Calendar Contest, to raise awareness for pets with disabilities around the world!

With hundreds of entries from 26 different countries, including dogs, cats, ducks, pigs, opossums, goats, and bunnies, all in pet wheelchairs – this contest is sure to win the hearts of many.

Voting will take place on the Walkin’ Pets Facebook page, and the 12 pets with the most votes (or likes/reactions) will earn a monthly spot in the 2024 Calendar, as well as our cover winner. The company will also be giving out two awards including the Hero Award, which honors someone/an organization who has paid it forward, and a “Rescue Award,” honoring a non-profit who has helped animals with special needs find forever homes.

All entries, however, are more than deserving and will earn a spot in the calendar, and all proceeds will be donated to the Handicapped Pets Foundation – a non-profit organization that provides wheelchairs to pets in need at no cost.
