What Makes the SureFit® Calculator the Best Choice?

SureFit® Guarantee: we guarantee the perfect size, or we’ll pay your return shipping costs if an exchange is needed. That way there’s no doubt your pet will get the perfect fit.

We highly recommend using our SureFit® Calculator as it ensures the perfect custom fit for your pet. It requires a couple measurements, but only so we can provide your pet with the very best experience.

We recognize this takes a few minutes of your time, but those minutes are worth the happiness your pet will experience once they try out their wheelchair for the first time. Our wheelchairs have already helped more than 81,000 other pets. Let’s make that 81,001!

Other companies simply have you select a wheelchair based on weight, but that often results in a poor fit. Why? A 30 lb bulldog has a very different body type from a 30 lb corgi, but those companies will provide both with the same wheelchair.

Vanderpump Dogs Rescue Saves Paralyzed Dog, Last Dog Left in High-Kill Shelter

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 11, 2023): Special needs dogs are often overlooked at rescues, sometimes spending up to three times as long at the shelter waiting to find their forever home. Giving rescue dogs the mobility support they need makes them more adoptable and gives them the freedom they need to lead an active life. Walkin’ Pets, a NH-based pet mobility company, has made it their mission to support paralyzed rescue dogs and shine a light on their stories.

Meet Billie Valentine from the Vanderpump Dog Foundation

Billie Valentine was the last dog left at a high-kill shelter in Los Angeles, California. On the day of his rescue, Valentine’s Day, he was scheduled to be euthanized. Thankfully, a rescue called Vanderpump Dogs, founded by Lisa Vanderpump, star of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules, was able to save his life from the unimaginable. Having been given a second chance at life on the International Day of Love, he was named Billie Valentine.

Though paralyzed, Billie remains the happiest little dog with the best disposition. Walkin’ Pets donated a rear wheelchair to Billie, where he could finally get back up on his feet and take his very first independent steps!

An Instagram post about Billie mentioned, “Billie immediately stole all our hearts! He has such an ambitious energy, loving spirit, and speed – he is so fast! He can finally run, play, and be as free and as fast as he wants to be. He loves his wheels and could not be happier. We can barely keep up with him. His life has been unimaginably hard and scary, but you would never know it. His amazing spirit shining through his recovery, is why we do what we do. Thank you so much to Walkin’ Pets for this amazing gift for Billie.”

Now that Billie is set up for a successful life, there is one thing left that he still needs – a forever home. Walkin’ Pets is searching for a loving home for Billie – who will tend to his special needs and give him the time and attention he needs to thrive and live a happy, healthy life.
