Thelma Louise is one of several farm animals that Michele Marshall has assisted since she and her husband Alan founded Storybook Acres Disabled Animal Rescue back in 2001. However, she is the first goat to successfully use a Walkin’ Wheels dog wheelchair with front wheel attachment.
Michele was so thrilled to help Thelma Louise enjoy walks in the pasture again that she was prepared to spend a significant amount of time helping the goat learn to use a mobility device.
