AMHERST, NH (January 11, 2018) – 2 Hands Saving 4 Paws, which rescues dogs primarily from high-kill shelters in McDuffie County, Georgia, is looking for a special family for a special dog. Back in June 2017, 2 Hands Saving 4 Paws rescued a puppy named Petunia who had suffered a broken spine, impairing her rear-leg mobility. Rescue Director Maria Salvaggio reached out to Walkin’ Pets by HandicappedPets.com, a pet company located in New Hampshire, which donated a Walkin’ Wheels dog wheelchair to help Petunia walk and run again. Now Petunia needs a family to give her a permanent home.
Petunia has adapted extremely well to the wheelchair and races around with ease. All that is needed for this dog’s happy ending is a forever family who will love and care for Petunia and give her a little special care. Anyone who would like to consider adopting Petunia is encouraged to contact Maria at 2 Hands Saving 4 Paws through the pre-adopt questionnaire form found here: http://www.2handssaving4paws.com/pre-adoption-questionnaire.
