Thank you to The Clarion-Ledger for their terrific video and article about one of our 2017 Calendar winners, Stephie Lynn. Watch and read a preview here, but go to their website for the full article:
Mississippi pooch is calendar girl for handicapped pets
Stephie Lynn, of Crystal Springs, has everything a bulldog could dream of: homemade food, a closet full of clothes, a sweet convertible and a spot in the HandicappedPets.com worldwide Walkin’ Wheels pet calendar contest. Justin Sellers/The Clarion-Ledger
Hard to tell if it was the paisley dress, its stiff purple net skirt or the shiny remote-controlled convertible, but the picture added up to this: Bulldog Stephie Lynn kind of looked like a homecoming queen.
Stephie Lynn, the disabled pet belonging to Leizza Schneider-Bradford in Crystal Springs, is among 13 winners selected in the HandicappedPets.com worldwide Walkin’ Wheels pet calendar contest. Winners, selected from 137 finalists, represent five countries and eight states in the United States. Once you meet her, no real surprise she made the cut. Stephie Lynn cuts quite the figure riding in that little car or making her own way with a pink wheels backup.
For Schneider-Bradford, it’s just more proof. Her 8-year-old bulldog may no longer have the power to move her hind legs, but she never lost the power to move people’s hearts. . . .
