Walkin’ Pets has come out with a new MINI Walkin’ Wheels pet wheelchair for toy dog breeds and other small pets. This newest addition to its line of Walkin’ Wheels wheelchairs assists pets from two pounds up to 10 pounds.
The Mini Walkin’ Wheels pet wheelchair can help rabbits and cats as well as dogs — including puppies! The adjustable wheelchair comes in three Mini sizes; each is adjustable in height, length, and width. Stirrups hold rear legs off the ground if the pet is paralyzed. The removable harness and leg rings are washable and adjustable to give pets maximum comfort.
The Mini Walkin’ Wheels has the same great features as the larger-sized Walkin’ Wheels wheelchairs, but the Mini frame is even more lightweight to accommodate the tiniest pets. The adjustability features have also been modified slightly for added comfort and ease of use.
The Chihuahua is a breed that is particularly well served with this new wheelchair, since this breed often encounters mobility challenges. These adorable dogs are at increased risk of developing arthritis, especially common in the knees. But accidents and injuries spare no breed, so now there is an excellent option to keep the smallest pets active and mobile.
