AMHERST, NH (June 15, 2017) – The submission period is now open for the Walkin’ Pets annual Calendar Contest for disabled pets. Any pet pictured in a Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair is eligible for entry into the popular calendar contest; there is no entry fee. This is the third year the online pet product company has hosted the contest, which raises awareness of the high-quality life that is possible for mobility impaired pets. Last year, there was even a disabled lamb who was featured!
All proceeds from sale of the calendar will go to the Handicapped Pets Foundation, which donates wheelchairs to pet owners in need. The submission period is open now throughJuly 31, 2017 at 5PM EST. Selected submissions will be posted for public voting on the Walkin’ Pets Facebook page during the month of August 2017. Contest winners will be contacted in early September.
