Using the Steps
1) Open to its full length (it accordian folds to close).
2) Place the top platform on the rear of the vehicle, the bottom platform on the ground.
3) Set the angle of ascent/descent desired and secure the turn knobs.
Almost instinctively your dog is comfortable using these steps. Their stability, from base to vehicle entrance, is like walking on solid ground.
Handicapped animals especially appreciate the adjustable incline.
With its accordion fold and built-in hand holds, it is easy to pick up, transfer to another vehicle, or store.
Light weight and easy to carry, stairs fold to just 22” long, 18” wide and an amazingly short 7.25” high, small enough to fit in the under-the-seat compartment of many vans.
Ideal for SUV’s, trucks, and other high step vehicles. An optional 5th step is available for exceptionally high trucks.
Will the Expanding Pet Steps work indoors?
The 5 step Pet Loader will reach 41 inch heights. The 5 step easily fits over " people steps" for the dogs comfort. We have 16 inch wide aluminum platforms and the 18 inch wide ABS plastic. The Aluminum is lighter (34%) and a bit more compact. Our Expanding Pet Steps will work very well indoors. Couches, beds, chairs and perches on the window sill.
