I wanted to write to thank you for an incredible product. We have a Great Dane with a bad spine who has been steadily deteriorating over the last year. Our house has hardwood floors and she started having to wear shoes in the house. Then, she had to wear shoes on walks because her foot drop was so bad. In the last few months she keeps collapsing and we haven't been able to walk her at all.
My daughter did the research for her shoes and when things got worse, she did the research for wheelchairs. When the Walkin' Wheels arrived, my son and I assembled the chair, and we had to try it on and readjust it several times until we got it right. Our dog is tall, thin and has a deep chest, so we had to do a lot of tinkering. We started to follow your instructions for training the dog to use the chair, but all I had to say was, "Do you want to go for a walk?", and we took off and haven't looked back. My son is an engineer and he was very impressed with your clever and thoughtful design. I am just a very grateful dog owner. Our dog walks around the neighborhood with a big doggy grin on her face; she is so happy! She has learned that she can defecate and urinate in her wheels and this morning when she had to pee, she lifted up both back legs to keep things tidy. What a fabulous product!
