For Elderly, Injured, and Handicapped Pets; Products, Services, and Support.
Thanks for making 2004 a great year! With your help we've been able to find the products and services needed by people who are caring for an elderly, injured, and handicapped pets. Your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions help everyone. Please keep them coming! This month's best suggestion: Products for blind dogs. We're working on it. Any Ideas?
Help Animals just by Clicking! - New for 2005, each time a Gallery or In Memory page is viewed, a contribution is made to a shelter or other animal-support organization. If we use your handicapped pet's photo and story, you get to choose the charity and we'll make the donation in your best friend's name. It's important that we share our stories... it helps others make difficult decisions. If you already have a Gallery entry, you're included, too. Just check that a counter appears at the bottom of your page and let me know if there's a special charity you would like to support. It's a contest that everybody wins... especially the animals!

Favorite new product for 2005: This innovative new self-cleaning brush is Dylan's favorite! Push the thumb-rest and all the hair comes off in a single clump. See the website for a very well-done flash movie that shows exactly how it works. |
We've done some major work on our link pages. We've been told that this comprehensive listing of resources on the web has helped a huge number of people find the help they need. We've re-categorized the pages and added hundreds of listings. How did we do? If you have any additions to our link pages, let us know!
Feature Article! Rich Bergins cranks up his AutoCad, designs and builds a strudy cart for a large dog. See the article.
New this month include some handy stairs for pets, a new section on pet memorials, and DVD versions of our outstanding massage videos for dogs and horses. The disposable pet diapers have also made a hit. Have you seen them yet? Many of us have tried cutting a tail-hole in grocery-store diapers. They sort-of work, but the shape isn't right and the tape keeps getting stuck to hair. These diapers are shaped for animals and the velcro-like closer keeps on working.
Our Cart buyer's guide continues to help people understand how to choose, measure for, and buy a cart. Carts seem to be the portion of our site that attracts the most attention. The fact that carts are showing up everywhere means that animals are living longer, more fulfilling lives.
Great Success story: Last Greyhound Track in the Northwest Closes! GREY2K USA has really made a difference and some marvelous Greyhounds are available.
Cart Movies! Ivan has sent us a few movies of him in his new cart for his Gallery page... and you'll be generating a contribution to a pet-related charity just for looking.
