HandicappedPets, along with the Marvin Fund, worked together to help a paralyzed dog walk again. Precious, a disabled dog with DM, is the recipient of a cart which has changed her life . Precious was rescued from a kill shelter at the age of 2 by Boston Artist Sharryl Bryan. Diagnosed a year ago with Degenerative Myeleopathy (DM), the dog’s back end became increasingly weaker. Soon, she could only be pushed around in a stroller, her body unable to get the exercise she so badly needed. Read More and See the Video of her walking again!

| "Don't Make Me Go Out There, Pleeeease!" Indoor Dog Potty. It's cold and wet out there and neither of us really want to go out. Problem solved with this indoor dog potty. This synthetic grass, treated with a "Go Here" scent, sits on a waterproof rubber mat. www.petdiapers.com/acc/dogpotty/ |

Our dear friend, Little Beau Poop, has passed on. He wants his wheelchair to go to a handicapped pet in need. "People often think that animals or pets should be honored to be in our presence, but I think that is not true. Yes, we might breed and purchase them. But we must earn their love..." Read Beau's Memorial.
To apply for Beau's cart, please fill in the measurement form here and write "Beau's Donation" in the "Comments" Section. |
| Nancy is the Cart and Wheelchair Specialist for HandicappedPets.com. She works closely with every caretaker to make sure that the measurements are correct and that the right cart is being ordered. "Carts are custom-made and measuring a dog for a wheelchair can be complicated. It is so important that the animal fits the cart." Thanks Nancy! |

The National Association of Pet Sitters is working with Handicapped Pets to help caretakers find pet sitters that are willing and qualified to care for elderly, disabled, and special needs pets. Click here for our state-by-state pet sitter listings. |
| ACTION ALERT: California's AB1634 bill requires sterilization of pets. The Los Angeles City Council voted 10 to 1 to approve mandatory sterilization of most pets at the age of 4 months or older. Learn how you can help stop this frightening trend toward compulsory pet sterilization. Click Here |
