Unlike many dogs, it wasn't an easy adjustment and it has taken a few months, but Mason has finally become comfortable in his wheels. Mason has degenerative myleopathy and only one back leg, so it has been a challenge. He adjusted immediately to losing the leg and was a very active 'tripawd' for three years. The adjustment to losing the use of the remaining leg has been frustrating. But through the use of hot-dogs, patience and love and an awesome set of wheels, we are now back to walking together on the beach and the light is back in his eyes.
