Help and Advice for Caretakers of Handicapped Pets
Support for caretakers of pets who are injured, elderly or disabled is just a click away at the HandicappedPets.com help and advice forum.
While the forum is not a substitute for veterinary care, it does offer a place where caretakers can connect to exchange product information, share helpful tips and ideas, adopt and/or find placement for a disabled pet and much more.
Of course, we are always especially pleased to see a wheelchair dog in need of rescue find a new permanent home. In honor of rescue dogs like Weelo, we are offering a 30% discount to all non-profit rescue groups and shelters who purchase Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchairs from now until May 31, 2012.

Scooter Serves as Grand Marshal of Cheatham County Special Olympics
Scooter is one of several rescue dogs who showcase their second chances online through their own Facebook pages.
In addition to sharing information about his life on wheels and creating awareness for the homeless pets in Cheatham County, Scooter has also recently been called upon to serve as the Grand Marshal of the Cheatham County Special Olympics.
This is one of many ways that Scooter fulfills his personal mission - "A one and a half year old wheelchair bound Border Collie, learning to be a therapy dog for people in wheelchairs. Helping teach the communities that even paralyzed dogs can still lead a full, happy life."
