Measure the width of your dogs paw across the widest point. Dog needs to be standing up when you do this.

 Note: When trying on a boot for the first time, please put a sock on the animal's foot as boots returned with hair on them cannot be resold for full value and will be subject to a restocking charge.

In order to be stable on ice, metal spikes (on human boots/shoes) are needed.   Similarly, your dog may be better equipped for ice using his toenails for traction.
