Missy's new bed 2.JPG (74777 bytes)

Got the bed yesterday and Missy acts as tho' it was made just for her.  Thanks!

This bed is worth its weight in gold...  You addressed every dog fantasy when you designed it.  It cleans up beautifully and the bolsters come out looking brand new.  We're thrilled with it!!

Maggie didn't take to it right away, I have hardwood floors and it slipped.  After I put rubber grip coasters on the floor it worked like a charm.   Now she won't get out of it.  We ordered the bed in March and it's taken me this long to find the perfect picture of her in it.  She looked so incredibly comfortable in every picture and she had so many "aah this is the life" positions.  This one is not only cute, but also a testimonial that it works.  Look under her butt...

Don't sell yourself short with just incontinence and geriatric uses or just for dogs...  I caught my grandsons in it, they think it's the nuts to watch TV on and they want me to buy them one too.

Thank you so much, this is one product that DELIVERS!!

My dog Jamie (a fox hound) is geriatric - he's about 16 years old, and a year and a half ago, he had a stroke that left him very weak in his hind legs. 4 weeks ago, he was diagnosed as having type 2 diabetes as well, causing him to drink lots of water, and consequently he peed a lot. When he's ill, the weakness in his hind legs is magnified many times. He also loses control of his bladder. So, what ended up happening the last 4 weeks was that he would pee, and couldn't get up, and ended up lying in wet bedding. He didn't like that, and he would wake up, and start to whine, softly at first, and if no response, he'd turn up the volume.

I abandoned my own bedroom, and now sleep downstairs with him. So does my husband. We both got up every 2 - 3 hours to haul him out of bed, change his bedding, give him a wash, and put him back to bed. Even then, he developed a couple of really nasty bed sores. Diapers did not work - they gave him diaper rash, plus they slip out of place as he moves around.

I got the Slee Pee bed 2 days ago. I set it up, put him on it, and for the first time in 4 weeks, he slept 7 hours straight without waking up. His bed sores are starting to heal, as letting the sores to dry out really helped. The clean up is dead easy. For these reasons, I am really grateful that someone had thought about the problem, and came up with a solution.

The Slee-Pee Time bed is great. Big improvement in my little dog's quality of life.

She's been para-plegic since she got rocky mountain spotted fever in Oct 99. Just started using her back legs again in Oct 2000 - but clumsily - and still weak bladder and bowel control.

Most of the time, she's had a soaking wet patch of fur on her right hind-quarters from the urine. One night in the Slee-Pee Time bed and she was dry - and has pretty much stayed dry. I'm hoping this will protect her from the UTIs she's been subject to since becoming crippled.
Thanks.

(Yes, you may print my letter. Also, here's a picture of Morwy taken a few months before she got sick - and now she's got that happy sparkle back in her eyes again.)

Cindy --

Earlier this year, I ordered a SleePee-Time Bed for my dog, Bailey.
I want you to know we are extremely pleased with the product. It has had a very positive effect on our household.

I've attached two photographs of Bailey using her bed. If you have trouble
opening the files, please write me back and I will send you prints. By the
way, Bailey will celebrate her tenth birthday on Monday!

Thanks again, and happy holidays!

This note comes from another happy SleePee-Time Bed user:

"Thank you so much for your prompt sending of the SleePee-Time bed. This has made a world of difference in my kitchen. Bande no longer sleeps in her urine. She enjoys this bed very much. My other dog seems to recognize this is her bed and does not bother it at all. Thanks again!"

Thanks to Maggie Moorhead for this thoughtful letter:

Cindy,

I received the bed and my dog and I love it. She is a border collie
who is diagnosed with "urinary incompetence"; which means that
veterinarians can find nothing wrong physically - she's just incompetent
at holding her urine. I have also taken her to a veterinary
acupuncturist and a homeopath. All to no avail - she still leaks.

Before your bed arrived I replaced her cloth-covered cedar bed every
few months and washed the cover every few days. Even then it smelled in
her corner of the kitchen and often she would avoid her bed and sleep
elsewhere.

Now, she sleeps in the bed all night, back arched against the
bolsters and legs spread over the front frame. The pan underneath
catches not only urine but hair and those odd pieces of debris that
active dogs have on their coats.

I'm glad that someone is making a product that considers the needs
of not only the owner but the pet.
