– San Antonio, TX:"My Golden suffered from allergies which affected her skin, with
patches of hair loss, as well as consant itching, redness and of course
hot spots. It turned her into a really ugly dog that people wouldn't
even touch, much less pet. We took her to the lake one day to play,
and some kids said "Oh gross!" because her skin and coat were
in such bad shape. It was actually very embarassing competing in Retriever
Hunt Test, and we actually cancelled a couple in which we had entered
her in, because of her skin and coat. Other trainers seemed to get worried
that their dogs could catch what she had, some even believed she had
mange. We spent many dollars in vet bills. We even took her to a K9
allergist specialist for the dreaded needle patch test. Only cortizone
steroids helped, but constant use is very dangerous to a dogs health.
I researched alternative ways of dealing with her problem, and found
some advice on the internet about Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids in
K9 diets. It helps with coat and general skin health, but most importantly
it helped in 20 percent of dogs with allergies. So we looked for a product
and found yours. After about a month on the Dream Coat, her itching
stopped and her coat started to grow back. Her coat is growing long
and luxurious and it actually luminates in the sun. She is also no longer
itching like crazy, and hasn't had a hot spot since. She will lick it
