Thank you to the inventor of Walkin' Wheels for the wonderful change to our household!

Sky is an 8 year old purebred German Shepherd. She's been with us since 7 weeks old, a Christmas/Birthday gift to our daughter. (Our 4 other pets are rescues).  In June of 2010, Sky was diagnosed with DM. There is no cure.  In 6 months, she went from a limp and swaying to not being able to stand or walk.  Her mode of moving was dragging herself.  On New Year's Eve day, I made the decision to call our vet the next week to have Sky put to sleep because she seemed so depressed, and using a doggie sling to take her outside was no longer working for either of us.  Three omens happened that delayed my decision. 

Then, I was reading Cesar's Way Magazine and saw the ad for Walkin' Wheels, went online and saw the video, and ordered it for Sky.  Two days later we had it, and 3 hours after that, Sky had used the Walkin' Wheels twice.  She is able to run, walk and chase her ball.  She is able to go to the bathroom in the Walkin' Wheels. Her spirits have been lifted tremendously, as have ours and her "sister" Gabby.  They once again can play and chase each other!  Sky has a new lease on life, and hopefully many more years with us because of her "new wheels". 

Thank you for ensuring the wheelchair was sent so quickly.  It is the best investment I have ever made.  

Our Sky loves it!  I must say, we did not need the training document at all - Sky was very motivated.  We put it together, and in the next three hours she used it twice, about 15 min each time.  Her "Skyball" was the motivation.  It was very easy to put the Walkin' Wheels together, and it's extremely easy to put on and off. 

I did get Sky some booties as she did not need the stirrups, but needed protection for her back feet.  And she can move her back legs with the support of the Walkin' Wheels! 

Thank you to the inventor and Handicapped Pets for the wonderful change to our household!  Our other dog, Gabby, is just as excited as they can now run after each other and play again, instead of Sky dragging herself all over.   Sky was able to go thru 6 inches of snow.  She is now excited and vocal every time I go toward the wheelchair!
