In Memory of Mopsy

Mopsy was a stray roaming the town. We met when I walked one of my dogs Johny. Johny was an alpha dog so Mopsy kept a distance but followed us home.

He stayed and adopted us. He could get along with my dad;s GSD Erin so he stayed with my Dad and Mom.. Mopsy lived from 1979 to 1994. Erin passed on in 1991 and Mopsy griefed when his mate was gone. He soon got another mate from the shelter named Bear who was a black lab female. My parents were now frail and often very sick for many years. Mopsy was always near their sick bed. When Mopsy was having trouble with his hips I ordered the K9 cart but unfortunately he had a stroke or other illness and passed on to my great sadness.

Mopsy has donated a cart that will be used for many years by animals in need.
