dog in wheelsIt's obvious that they love the independence with their mobility and they are the loves of our lives and each day we get to spend with them is a gift.
Thank you!

Previously we have been using the bottoms up leash that works pretty well, but limits their independence. Here's our boy Kiefer. He'll be 11 in June. He has DM, which has been progressing since about May last year.

He can still get around on his own on all four legs, (some days are better than others). We put socks on his feet because he drags a little until he gets going. We tried boots but with DM it's hard enough for him to use his legs without the added distraction of the boots.

He is a rescue boxer that we fostered (then adopted) since he was 7 years old. He is the love of our lives, and we are his.

He's a mess, separation anxiety, kidney issues, but the most loving and happy old man you'll ever meet! Ginger will be 10 this year and is a rescue from our local SPCA. Some idiot (who had her since a puppy) gave her up a week before her 8th birthday. Guess they had their reasons but we can't think of one good enough that would result in a decision like that. Their loss was our gain!

She is also the love of our lives and each day we get to spend with them is a gift.

She also has some kind of neuro issue (different from his) and can't get around well on her own.

It's obvious that they love the independence with their mobility.

Thanks,
Beth and Steve Yeatman
