How to Measure Your Small Dog For The Walkin' Wheels Mini Dog Wheelchair
Step 1: Width
Step 2: Fold of Flank
Step 3: Length
To determine the width, simply take a tape measure and measure across the front of your dog's chest. The standard measurement should come between 4 to 9 inches wide.;
The Fold of the Flank (FOF) is a thin piece of skin that connects the dog's upper rear leg to his body. Look at the webbing between your thumb and index finger. This skin is very similar to the fold of flank (FOF). For more information on how to measure the fold of flank, click here.
To measure the length, start from the back of the front leg and measure across to the back of the rear leg.
Note: An adjustment to the dog wheelchair, requiring a Philips screwdriver, is required for dogs over 6 inches high. If you would like us to make this adjustment for you, please let us know when you place your order.
Because of its unique design and compact size, the Mini Walkin Wheels is easy to transport. It does not fold or come with a Tote Bag (only the regular cart is designed to fold and has the tote bag to carry it around.)
Handicappedpets.com makes every effort to ship orders within 1 business day. Overnight and Second Day orders received before 12 pm Eastern Time will ship same day. (Excluding weekends and holidays)
The Walkin' Wheels Mini Vest is designed to fit the dachshund better than the standard Walkin' Wheels Dog Wheelchair Harness. It is designed to comfortably fit over the dachshund's broad chest.
Our Drag Bag is designed for pets to use in the home when they are not in their carts. Great for protecting the chest and limbs and prevents abrasions and sores that can be caused by scraping against carpets, floors, and rough surfaces.
The Walkin' Wheels Rear Harness is used to support your dogs hind quarters. This harness is compatible with the Walkin' Wheels Wheelchair, and can be used instead of the Leg Rings.
