When a helpful article is published on our site, it saves lives!
Thousands of people read it and we often promote it on our Facebook page (with over 50,000 fans) and in our newsletters. Here are our guidelines:
We don't accept advertising on our site, so if your article is an ad for your products or services, we will probably not use it. If you have a list of helpful links that would be of interest to our readers, you are welcome to enclose them for publishing consideration. Of course, in your "About the author" section, you may provide a link to your website.
By submitting an article, you are granting us exclusive global rights to it, and any photos. This means that if you publish it elsewhere, you need to change it so that it is not recognizably the same article. We do this because search engines penalize websites for having duplicate articles.
This also means that we reserve the right to edit the article in any way.
All photos need to be taken by you. Do not submit photos that have been taken by others. If anyone's face appears in a photo, we need to get a photo release. Http://Handicappedpets.com/files/Web Photo Release Form.pdf
Articles may be of any length with as many photos and diagrams as you like. Please submit it in either Microsoft Word, Text Editor, or other common word processing program. Do not use tabs or multiple spaces for spacing or fonts or styles because these cannot be duplicated easily on the web.
If you have large photos or videos to upload. You can upload them here:
