Kathy joined Handicapped Pets in December 2005. Among numerous responsibilities, she helps design and implements the systems that keep HP running smoothly. Kathy also helps create and develop new products that aid pets with their physical challenges.
Kathy's background as a small business owner and entrepreneur made her a perfect fit for our organization. She started Stitches & Screens -- embroidery and screen-printing company that catered to corporations large and small, sports teams and schools providing them with personalized items designed to enhance their respective identities and images. She ran the company from marketing to management, customer service to fulfillment.
She attended Salem State College in Salem, Ma. She also belonged to several organizations that cater to women in business, specifically women starting and owning their own businesses.
Kathy's greatest strength lies in her ability to deal compassionately and effectively with people from all walks of life in both her professional career and her personal life. She has a unique desire to root for, encourage and support the underdog -- both of the two-legged and four-legged varieties.
Kathy is the proud owner of Bailey, a lively Yorkshire Terrier. She has four fully grown sons. Her growing family gives her great joy, as she is a loving grandmother to her beautiful granddaughters, Aubrey and Brynn, and handsome grandson, Jack. She's been married for 35 years and resides in Nashua, New Hampshire with her husband Larry.
