St. Jude, as you know, is the Patron Saint of Lost & Hopeless Causes.
When humanity tried its level best to kill a small, determined pup, he came
to me and I had no choice but to join his fight to live. With a smashed pelvis,
tied up organs & nerves, shot arm, and starvation, we launched on a journey
which moves me to tears to this day. St. Jude is happy, healthy, goofy, and
a daily joy to experience. He is not smiling in the photo because flash cameras
scare him, as you can tell from his icey blue stare. He is a gift and I thank
God for him.
